Renewal agreement: Effective Dec. 12, 2016, to Dec. 11, 2019. Signed on May 25, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Dec. 12, 2017: $0.50 per hour (all classifications, other than bartenders and servers)
Effective Dec. 12, 2017: $0.25 per hour (bartenders and servers)
Effective Dec. 12, 2018: $0.60 per hour (all classifications, other than bartenders and servers)
Effective Dec. 12, 2018: $0.25 per hour (bartenders and servers)
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 10 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 20 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 44 hours per week. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays $299.22 (previously $289.22) per member per month into Commercial Workers Benefits Trust Plan. Effective Dec. 1, 2018: $309.22 per member per month.
Dental: Coverage of 100% for diagnostic services, preventive services, extractions and fillings, periodontal (treatment of gums), oral surgery, space maintainers. 50% for restoration services such as crowns, inlays, bridges, dentures, repair or replacement of bridges or dentures.
Vision: $150 every 12 months for dependent children younger than 18; $250 every 24 months for contact lenses, lenses and frames for eyeglasses.
Paramedical: All services (chiropractor, registered massage therapist, psychologist, naturopath, osteopath, podiatrist, acupuncturist) except physiotherapy (which will be 100% paid by plan) will be subject to 80% co-payment (employee pays 20% of cost; plan pays 80% of cost) and must be accompanied by a written referral from MD. Maximum $500 per person per year.
Sick leave: 12 sick days per year. All new employees hired after Nov. 1, 2014, will be entitled to 12 sick days payable at 66 2/3% of hourly rate.
AD&D: Coverage of $20,000.
Life insurance: Coverage of $20,000.
Pension: Employer will contribute from $0.45 to $0.68 per hour into Canadian Commercial Workers Industry Pension Plan (CCWIPP).
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (wife, husband, same-sex partner, father, mother, child). 3 days for death of brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild father-in-law, mother-in-law. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. 
Probationary period: 90 days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for disciplinary warnings, reprimands for incidents, other than loss prevention matters (unrecorded transactions, mishandling property or funds); loss prevention, harassment or violence in the workplace matters will remain for 24 months.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide all full-time employees with 3 shirts, 2 aprons, 2 hats, 1 tie and all part-time employees with 2 shirts, 1 apron, 1 hat, 1 tie as applicable according to brand-uniform specification.

Storekeeper: $17.85 rising 2 steps to $18.95
Assistant storekeeper #1: $16.45 rising 2 steps to $17.55
Driver: $18.65 rising 2 steps to $19.75
Assistant storekeeper: $15.70 rising 2 steps to $16.80
Bartender: $14.35 rising 2 steps to $14.85
Bartender (hired after Nov. 1, 2014): $12.60 rising 2 steps to $13.10
Retail clerk: $14.90 rising 2 steps to $16
Server: $12.60 rising 2 steps to $13.10
Crew leader: $15.90 rising 2 steps to $17
Deli attendant: $15.20 rising 2 steps to $16.30
Snack-bar attendant: $14.90 rising 2 steps to $16

Editor’s notes: Parking: Employer will increase number of parking spots to 100 useable spots. Effective Dec. 12, 2017: Employer will add 20 additional spots. Effective Dec. 12, 2018: Employer will add 20 additional spots. Employee meals: Employees will pay 30% of menu-item selling price at cash register, excluding coffee, tea and fountain beverages. Meal plan includes all HMS Host-owned locations. Fountain drinks, tea and coffee will be provided at no charge to employees. Deposits: Newly hired employees are required to pay deposit for following items: $50 for Transport Canada Airport Security 1.0; $50 for parking key card (plastic) and decal; $50 for missed appointment at pass office.
