Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on Feb. 28, 2017.
Wage adjustments:
Effective April 1, 2017: 2.25%
Effective April 1, 2018: 2.25%
Shift premium: Time and one-half for all work between 5 p.m. to midnight Monday to Saturday. Double time for all work between midnight and 8 a.m.
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: 10% paid monthly.
Meal allowance: Hot, nutritious food plus paid break of 1 half-hour to be provided when no breaks offered during 5-hour shifts.
Medical benefits: Employer will contribute 7% from April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2018 to health and welfare benefit trust for members of Local 58 IATSE. Effective April 1, 2018: 7.25%.
Dental: Employer will contribute 1%.
Pension: Retirement Savings Plan of Local 58 IATSE. Employee contributes 5%, employer contributes 7%.
Bereavement leave: From date of bereavement to day after burial for death in immediate family (spouse, partner, father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparent, grandchild). 3 days should employee be unable to attend funeral because of distance to be traveled.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will contribute $3,000 tool, work-clothing, cellphone allowance to each head of department including chief sound technician and each assistant.
