Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2017. Signed on Oct. 24, 2016.
Shift premium: $2.50 per hour for instructional drivers while training. $0.50 per hour for employee holding first-aid certificate.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 120 hours or 6% after 3 years, 160 hours or 8% after 9 years, 200 hours or 10% after 15 years, 240 hours or 12% after 21 years. 
Overtime: Double time for all hours worked after 8 or 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Double time for first 8 hours worked on a statutory holiday; triple time for the next 2 hours; quadruple time for the next 2 hours.
Medical benefits: Teamsters' Transport Health and Welfare Trust Plan. Company pays 100% of premiums.
Sick leave: After 1 year of service, employee receives ½ day for each month, maximum 30 days.
Pension: Teamsters’ National Pension Plan. $2.45 per hour contributed by the employer.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parent, spouse, brother, sister, child, parent-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, stepchildren, legal guardian, grandparents, spouse’s grandparents, spouse’s grand-children).
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year, 18 months for employees with 5 years’ seniority. 
Probationary period: 90 days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Mileage: 5-axle: $0.37 per kilometre. 6-axle: $0.37 per kilometre. 7-axle: $0.38 per kilometre. 8-axle: $0.38 per kilometre.

New hire rates
Students referred from truck driving schools: $13 per hour first month
$17 per hour second month
$18 per hour third month

New hires with no tank truck experience: $17 per hour first month

New hires with tank truck experience: start at full-rate
Editor’s notes: Bunk sizing: Bunks in tractors which are intended for use as sleeper cab equipment will be not less than 28” wide. Ocean ferries pay: When employees are required to ride ocean ferries with their equipment on ferry trips that exceed 8 hours (Port Hardy to Prince Rupert, Alaska ferries) they will be paid at straight time hourly rate for one-half the total hours spent making the trip. Union label: Employee may post Teamsters’ union labels on the glass area of the equipment he is operating, maximum 3 inches by 4 inches, and not to be attached to any area which will impair the vision of the driver.
