Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2018. Ratified on Feb. 27, 2017. Signed on April 13, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 0.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 1.5%
Shift premium: $2 per hour for lead hands. $0.40 per hour for all regular hours worked on Saturday. $0.50 per hour for all regular hours worked on Saturday by operators. $1 per hour for all work between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. $3 per hour for each hour of finishing work for construction caterpillar and grader operators and maintenance grader operators when laying oil on roads. $0.50 per hour for tradesmen with more than one journeyman certificate.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 25 years, 7 weeks after 35 years. Construction machine operator will be allowed 1 additional week of vacation from Dec. 1 to April 30.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all overtime hours worked. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays maximum 90% of premiums, employee pays 10% of premiums for plan provided by WSG Benefit Consultants and underwritten by SSQ Financial. $900 per year (previously $600 per year) for health spending account.
Sick leave: 1.5 days per month, maximum 18 days per year. Maximum accumulation of 100 days.
AD&D: Employer pays maximum 90% of premiums, employee pays 10% of premiums for maximum coverage of $200,000.
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, parent, grandparent, grandchild, guardian, parent of current spouse, child, ward, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, fiancé).
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum of 2 hours’ pay at overtime rates.
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Safety shoes: $175 per year for CSA-approved safety footwear.
Uniforms/clothing: Employees will be supplied with coveralls or winter clothing on following basis: Mechanics/welders will receive 4 pairs per year; operators will receive 1 pair every 6 months. 
Mileage: $0.08 per kilometre above uniform kilometre rate when employee is required to haul bulky and heavy materials, such as fence posts or like materials with own vehicle.

Probationary: $28.22 rising 1 step to $28.64
Permanent: $30.08 rising 1 step to $30.53
Welder journeyman 
Probationary: $32.49 rising 1 step to $32.98
Permanent: $34.69 rising 1 step to $35.21
Mechanic journeyman 
Probationary: $32.49 rising 1 step to $32.98
Permanent: $34.69 rising 1 step to $35.21
Mechanical foreman: $37.08 rising 1 step to $37.64
Editor’s notes: Long-term service pay: $18 per month additional pay after 5 years’ service; $27 per month after 10 years’ service; $36 per month after 15 years’ service; $45 per month after 20 years’ service; $54 per month after 25 years’ service; $63 per month after 30 years’ service; $72 after thirty 35 years’ service. Hearing aids: $500 per year for purchase, maintenance and repair of hearing aids.
