Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2016, to Aug. 31, 2020. Signed on Feb. 17, 2017.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 3 days in conjunction with Christmas Holiday period. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for University Supplemental Group Medical Benefits Plan.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for University Dental Plan, plus coverage for crowns and bridges, maximum $2,500 coverage per year.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for University Vision Care Plan.
Sick leave: 1 month per year of service, maximum 4 months.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums for University Long Term Disability Insurance Plan. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for University Group Life Insurance Plan, maximum of $400,000 coverage.
Pension: Employer pays 100% of premiums for University Pension Plan. Employer will contribute 8.05% to plan, employee contributes 6.5%.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of family member (husband, wife, common-law partner, same-sex partner, son and daughter, brother, sister, mother, father, mother-in-law and father-in-law, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, grandparents, guardians, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son-in law, stepparent, foster-parent of employee or the employee ’s partner, stepchild, foster-child of the employee or the employee ’s partner, stepbrother, stepsister of the employee or the employee’s partner). Additional 2 days if needed.
Seniority – recall rights: Librarians with 6 years or more of service: 4 years; librarians with less than 6 years of service: 3 years; probationary librarians: 1 year. Tenured and continuing faculty: 4 years; faculty in second probationary appointment: 3 years; faculty in first probationary appointment: 2 years.
Probationary period: 6 years. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 3 years.

Development of HCE distance education course by contract lecturer: $7,207 rising 3 steps to $7,536
Contract lecturers with service of 31 HCEs to 60 HCEs: $7,410 rising 3 steps to $7,748
Contract lecturers with service of more than 60 HCEs: $7,816 rising 3 steps to $8,173
Chairs/directors administrative stipend: $4,400 rising 3 steps to $5,000
