Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2019. Signed on Feb. 3, 2017.
Shift premium: $0.75 per hour for library assistant with 2-year diploma.
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day for every 26 days worked to start, 13 days after 1 year, 15 days after 3 years, 20 days after 9 years, 25 days after 15 years, 30 days after 25 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 7 or 8 hours per day or 35 or 40 hours per week. Double time after first 2 hours and on Saturday and Sunday. May be banked, maximum 10 days per year. 
Meal allowance: $10 when employees work more than 2 hours of overtime.
Sick leave: 1 day per bi-weekly pay period, maximum 124 days.
Life insurance: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for Manitoba Public School Employees Group Life Insurance Plan.
Pension: Manitoba School Board Association (MSBA) Non-Teaching Employees Pension Plan. 
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, same-gender partner, child, grandchild, foster-child, immediate family member living in household, parent, parent-in-law. 3 days for death of brother, sister. 2 days for death of grandparent, brother-in-law, sister-in-law. Additional time for travel may be given.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Probationary period: 6 months.

Payband 1 (IS network services technician, IS applications developer): $32.42 rising 4 steps to $34.74
Payband 2 (assistant supervisor): $30.79 rising 4 steps to $33.01
Payband 3A (IS software support facilitator): $28.11 rising 4 steps to $30.13
Payband 3B (payroll coordinator, benefits coordinator): $27.27 rising 4 steps to $29.23
Payband 4 (IS support technician, payroll assistant, benefits assistant, transportation coordinator/dispatcher): $26 rising 4 steps to $27.87
Payband 5 (library technician (divisional), human resources assistant, administrative secretary - superintendent’s team, administrative secretary - board office, administrative secretary – schools, substitute system operator): $24.75 rising 4 steps to $26.79
Payband 6 (accounting assistant): $23.03 rising 4 steps to $25.47
Payband 7 (printer technician, library assistant, accounting assistant – facilities, purchasing assistant, facilities assistant, secretary, office clerk, courier/driver): $22.40 rising 4 steps to $24.01
Editor’s notes: Leave for writing examinations: Employer may receive time off with pay, maximum one-half day per examination, to upgrade employee’s job-related skills.
