Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 30, 2016, to Sept. 29, 2019. Signed on Aug. 25, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective 60 days after ratification: Employees will be paid lump sum equivalent to $0.35 per hour at 2,080 hours. The annual increase will be paid in first pay period following effective date of increase.
Shift premium: Afternoon shift premium of $0.40 per hour will be paid when shift commences after noon but before 8 p.m. Where employee’s starting time is after 8 p.m. but before 5 a.m., night shift premium of $0.55 per hour will be paid. Corporate trainer: Where employees are assigned to train for 1 shift or more, employee will be paid additional $0.30 per hour above rate.
Paid holidays: 10 days, plus 2 additional floater days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month of service, maximum 10 days to start, 10 days or 4% after 1 year, 15 days or 6% after 2 years, 20 days or 8% after 10 years, 25 days or 10% after 20 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
STD: 66 2/3% of gross earnings to EI maximum.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for $40,000 coverage.
Pension: Effective after 6 months of employment, employees will be enrolled in company’s Retirement Savings Program for Walker Drive. Employer contributes 2%, employee contributes 1%. Additional contributions of 0.5% or 1% will be matched by employer. Maximum 5% total contributions.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parents, brother, sister, spouse, child, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepparents, stepchildren, grandparents, grandchildren).
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months; 24 months, if employee has more than 2 years’ service. 
Call-in pay: Employee will be paid greater of: 4 hours at overtime rate or overtime rates for all hours worked.
Probationary period: 1,000 hours. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for verbal and written warnings, 24 months for suspensions.
Safety shoes: Employer will provide employees with CSA-approved safety footwear as required. The style of boots will be pre-determined by employer.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply employees with clean uniforms. Employees are expected to care for assigned uniforms.
Tool allowance: Maximum reimbursement per skilled trades’ employee (millwrights, electricians, refrigeration mechanics, stationary engineers) per year will be $300. Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $325. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $350.

Formax/bridge op., Westar operator, Ilapak, Multivac, SP meats generalist, SP meats band saw op., co ex suffer op., Oktoberfest stuffer op., chub op (start rate): $17.45 rising 2 steps to $18.28
Level 4
Blender/grinder/LCF, oven operator, shipper receiver, QC inspector, SP meats brine/injection op., maintenance storekeeper (start rate): $17.80 rising 2 steps to $18.63
Level 5
Lead hands (start rate): $18.80 rising 2 steps to $19.63
Maintenance single ticket (start rate): $26.60 rising 2 steps to $27.43
Double ticket (start rate): $30.60 rising 2 steps to $31.43
Third-class stationary refrigeration/B (start rate): $27.60 rising 2 steps to $28.43
Maintenance PLC tech (start rate): $32.95 rising 2 steps to $33.78

Editor’s notes: Personal protective equipment: Employer will supply — at no cost to employees — all protective safety equipment that each employee is assigned and required to wear. Education fund: Employer will pay $0.03 per hour per employee to Steelworkers Peel Halton Services. Maintenance licence renewals: Employer will pay cost of required annual licence renewals, maximum $100. Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $125 per year.
