Provincewide, Ontario (1,350 foremen, bricklayers, drivers) and the Bricklayers, Masons Independent Union of Canada (CLC)

Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2016, to April 30, 2019. Signed on April 27, 2016.
Paid holidays: 9 days. 
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks or 10% pay. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 9 hours per day, Monday to Friday, or 8 hours per day on Friday and Saturday. For bricklayers' assistants and forklift drivers and apprentices and learners, overtime rates are effective after 9.5 hours per day, Monday to Thursday, and 8.5 hours on Friday. 
Medical benefits: $2.95 per hour to the Labourers’ International Union of North America, Local 183 Members’ Benefit Trust Fund. Effective Jan.1, 2018: $3.20 per hour.
Pension: Employer will contribute $7.60 per hour to the Labourers’ Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada. Effective Jan.1, 2018: $8 per hour. Effective Jan.1, 2019: $8.40 per hour. Employer will contribute $7.85 per hour to the Bricklayers, Masons Independent Union of Canada, Local 1 Pension Trust Fund. Effective Jan.1, 2018: $8.25 per hour. Effective Jan.1, 2019: $8.65 per hour.

Foreman: $42.07 rising 3 steps to $43.81
Bricklayer, journeymen, stonemasons: $39.07 rising 3 steps to $40.83
Forklift drivers: $37.82 rising 3 steps to $38.83
Bricklayers’ assistants: $36.82 rising 3 steps to $37.83
LiUNA, Local 183 foreman: $57.78 rising 3 steps to $61.61
LiUNA, Local 183 bricklayers: $54.48 rising 3 steps to $58.31
LiUNA, Local 183 forklift drivers: $53.10 rising 3 steps to $56.11
LiUNA, Local 183 bricklayers’ assistants: $52 rising 3 steps to $55.01
BMIU, Local 1 foreman: $57.78 rising 3 steps to $61.61
BMIU, Local 1 bricklayers: $54.48 rising 3 steps to $58.31
BMIU, Local 1 forklift drivers: $53.10 rising 3 steps to $56.11
BMIU, Local 1 bricklayers’ assistants: $52 rising 3 steps to $55.01
Editor’s notes: Loss insurance: Employees will be reimbursed maximum $300 for loss of clothing and tools due to fire or theft in areas designated for storage of items. Industry fund: Employer will contribute $0.65 per hour. Overnight lodging: Whenever employees are required to be away from normal place of residence overnight, employer will pay $100 per day, maximum $500 per week ($600 for 6-day week), to cover room and board, or employer will provide suitable room and board accommodations for employees. Prepaid legal: Employer will contribute $0.10 per hour to union’s prepaid legal trust fund.
