Renewal agreement: Effective Aug. 1, 2017, to July 31, 2020. Signed on Aug. 1, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Dec. 31, 2017: 1%
Effective June 1, 2018: 1%
Effective June 1, 2019: 1.5%
Effective June 1, 2020: 1.5%
Paid holidays: 10 days, plus 3 additional days over Christmas period, plus 1 floating day during university’s Christmas week.
Vacations with pay: 1/4 week per month to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 3 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work done after 40 hours per week. 
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, child, child of spouse. 3 days for death of mother, father, mother or father of spouse, brother, sister, brother or sister of spouse. 2 days for death of grandparent, grandchild. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, nephew, niece, daughter-in-law, son-in-law. 1 additional day for travel more than 160 kilometres to attend funeral. 
Probationary period: 60 actual worked days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Sample rates of annual minimum salary (current):
Effective Dec. 31, 2017: $33,000
Effective June 1, 2018: $33,500
Effective June 1, 2019: $34,100
Effective June 1, 2020: $34,611
Editor’s notes: Office space: Employer will make available to union — free of charge from McGill — office, furnished with 1 desk, 2 chairs, 1 4-drawer filing cabinet and telephone (cost of telephone services to be borne by union). Marriage: Employee will be entitled to 5 days of paid leave in event of employee’s marriage.
