Renewal agreement: Effective March 16, 2017, to Oct. 31, 2019. Signed on March 16, 2017.
Shift premium: $0.33 per hour for all work, at request of employer, on shift other than shift normally worked as part of permanent schedule. $0.35 per hour (previously $0.30 per hour) for all work between end of evening shift Friday to end of evening shift Sunday.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 2 weeks or 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 8 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 15 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 22 years, 7 weeks or 14% after 28 years. 
Medical benefits: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for Ontario Hospital Insurance Plan (OHIP).
Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for group dental plan (equivalent to Blue Cross #9).
Vision: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for coverage of $250 per person every 2 years (previously $185 every 2 years).
Sick leave: 7.5 hours for every 162.5 hours paid, maximum 105 hours.
Life insurance: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for coverage of $30,000.
Pension: Employer contributes 4%, employee contributes 4% to Nursing Homes and Related lndustries Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, child, stepchild. 3 days for death of mother, father, stepparents, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, legal guardian, grandparent, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew. Additional 4 days unpaid leave for travel.
Seniority - recall rights: 36 months. 
Probationary period: 450 hours worked or 12 months, whichever occurs first. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide all employees whose work requires them to wear protective equipment with necessary equipment and protective clothing. Employer will pay $9 per month, over 6 months, to employees as uniform allowance.
