Renewal agreement: Effective May 8, 2017, to June 30, 2020. Signed on May 8, 2017.
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: 10%, paid weekly. Vacation time off will be taken at mutually convenient time arranged between employee and employer.
Overtime: Paid after 50 hours per week. 
Medical benefits: New Brunswick Carpenters Health Insurance Trust Fund.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of wife, child, mother, father. 2 days for death of brother, sister.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide raincoats, rubber boots, safety helmets, safety goggles. 
Tool allowance: In case of employee’s tools being destroyed, damaged by fire or lost by theft, employer will provide value of tools or $1,000 whichever is less. If power tools, patent-mitre boxes or staplers are required, they will be supplied by employer.
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after increase):
Carpenter: $30.84 rising 4 steps to $33.09 
Interior-system mechanic (drywall) $33.29 rising 4 steps to $35.54 
Apprentices in carpenter classification
First year: 75% (0 to 1,800 hours at trade, block 1 completed) 
Second year: 80% (1,801 to 3,600 hours at trade, block 2 completed)
Third year: 85% (3,601 to 5,400 hours at trade, block 3 completed)
Fourth year: 90% (5,401 to 7,200 hours at trade, block 4 completed)
Apprentices in interior-system-mechanic classification
First year: 60%
Second year: 70%
Third year: 80%
Fourth year: 90%
Editor’s notes: Tidal work: In recognition of restrictions that are imposed on employer engaged in work subject to ebb and flow of tides, starting and quitting times may be altered: When tide work is required, employees will receive 8 hours of pay for 7 hours worked.
