Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2021. Signed on March 6, 2018.
Paid holidays: 8 days, plus each Monday to Friday from Dec. 24 to Jan. 1. 
Vacations with pay: 1.25 days per month or 6% to start, 1 2/3 days per month of 8% after 90 months, 2.5 days per month or 10% after 210 months. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 7 hours per day or 35 hours per 5-day week. Time and one-half for all work on first or second day of rest (if employee works both days, time and one-half for first day, double time for second day). Double time for overtime work on Sunday.
Meal allowance: $12 for work more than 2 hours immediately following end of shift, plus additional $12 for each additional 4 hours of overtime.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums.
Sick leave: 1.25 days per month, maximum 130 days. 
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Mount Allison Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of father, mother, guardian, spouse, common-law spouse, life-partner, son, daughter, stepfather, stepmother, stepchild. 3 days for death of sister, brother, grandparent, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law. Employees may receive 3 hours to attend funeral.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at time and one-half regular rates and employee will only be required to perform work for which employee was called back.
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Severance: 5 days’ pay for each year of seniority, maximum 150 days’ pay.
Safety shoes: $120 (previously $100) for CSA-approved safety footwear.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide protective clothing, eyewear, footwear or other garments or equipment designed to protect employee against hazards.

Editor’s notes: Work on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1: If employee works on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1, employee will be paid 2 and one-half times regular hourly rate, plus compensation for statutory holiday. On-call: One-quarter of regular rate for every hour on call during first 24 hours in addition to pay for any call-back. Employee must remain 1 hour’s driving time from Sackville. If employee is required to be on call for more than 24 hours, employee will receive one-half of regular rate for every hour on call in excess of 24 hours in addition to pay for any call-back. Regular rate for every hour on call on statutory holiday. Long-service bonus: For employees with seniority date before July 1, 1999: 3% after 8 years of service; 5% after 13 years of service; 7% after 18 years of service; 9% after 23 years of service. Parental-expense supplement: Employer will provide $600 per year, for each dependent child younger than 5, for supplementing parental expenses.
