NAV Canada, ATSAC ratify collective agreement

Wage increases, premium adjustments part of new deal

NAV Canada announced that members of the Air Traffic Specialists Association (ATSAC) — which represents about 650 flight service specialists — ratified a new collective agreement July 18.

The agreement will run until April 30, 2019, and provides for wage increases, productivity enhancing changes and premium adjustments, said the company.

NAV Canada is a private, not-for-profit company established in 1996, that provides air traffic control, airport advisory services, weather briefings and aeronautical information services for more than 18 million square kilometres of Canadian domestic and international airspace.
