Renewal agreement: Effective July 16, 2018, to April 30, 2023. Signed on Aug. 8, 2018.
Paid holidays: Employer will pay 8% vacation and holiday allowance to each employee in lieu of paid vacation and holidays. 
Vacations with pay: Employer and employees will mutually agree on time that employee will take annual vacation provided employee has worked with same employer for minimum of 9 months in 1 year. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of normal working hours Monday through Friday or all hours worked on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays. Double time for all overtime worked on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays on major industrial projects.
Medical benefits: Employer will contribute $1.50 per hour paid per employee to fund major medical and dental plan.
Pension: Employer will make per-hour contributions to pension fund. Journeyman rodman - general foreman: $7 rising 4 steps to $7.48; journeyman rodman - foreman: $6.84 rising 4 steps to $7.32; pusher: $6.59 rising 4 steps to $7.07; journeyman rodman certified: $6.46 rising 4 steps to $6.94.
Bereavement leave: 1 day for death in immediate family (spouse, mother, father, daughter, son, sister, brother).
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay. 
Severance: 2 hours’ notice of layoff or 2 hours’ pay in lieu of notice.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply climatic protective clothing. Employer will provide glove allowance of $4 per day worked.
Mileage: $0.52 per kilometre when employee must travel more than 100 kilometres from current residence to job site.

Editor’s notes: Make-up hours: When employee does not work full 40 hours between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, because of adverse weather conditions or equipment breakdown, employer and employee may agree that make-up hours may be worked. Maximum 2 hours per day from Monday to Friday inclusive; maximum 8 hours per day on Saturday. Maximum 45 hours per week, make-up and regular hours. Board allowance: Paid if employee travels more than 100 kilometres for 2 or more consecutive days. $130 per day worked (previously $125 per day worked). Effective May 1, 2021: $131.50 per day worked. Effective May 1, 2022: $133 per day worked. If room and board are paid, allowance does not apply. Industry improvement fund: Employer will contribute $0.16 per hour per employee for each hour paid to Ironworkers Rebar Industry Improvement Fund
