Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on July 13, 2016.
Shift premium: $1.90 per hour (previously $1.80 per hour) for each hour worked on evening shift (Effective April 1, 2018: $1.95 per hour). $2.30 per hour (previously $2.20 per hour) for each hour worked on night shift (Effective April 1, 2018: $2.35 per hour). $2.45 per hour (previously $2.35 per hour) for each hour worked between midnight Friday to midnight Sunday (Effective April 1, 2018: $2.50 per hour).
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1.25 days per month or 6% to start, 3 weeks or 6% after 1 year, 4 weeks or 8% after 3 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 12 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 21 years, 7 weeks or 14% after 27 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours in excess of normal daily or weekly hours. 
Meal allowance: Meal voucher (maximum $4) or $4 if employer cannot provide voucher when working more than 2 hours’ overtime following regular shift.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25%. 
Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% for Liberty Health Dental Plan #9 (or its equivalent). Orthodontic: 50/50 co-insurance, lifetime maximum of $1,500 per person. Complete, partial dentures: 50/50 co-insurance, $1,000 maximum per person per year. Crowns, bridge work, repairs: 50/50 co-insurance, maximum $1,500 per person per year. 
Vision: $350 every 24 months per person. 1 optometry exam every 24 months, maximum $100. $350 for laser surgery.
Paramedical: Chiropractic, massage therapy, physiotherapy: Maximum $300 per insured person per year for each service.
LTD: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25%. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for HOOGLIP or equivalent group life insurance plan.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for death of parent, spouse, child, spouse’s child. 3 days for death of sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparent of spouse. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece or nephew.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at time and one-half.
Probationary period: 90 tours worked from date of last hire (675 hours for employees whose regular hours of work are other than standard workday). 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.

Editor’s notes: Military leave: Employee may be granted unpaid leave to fulfill minimum training requirements to maintain status in Canadian Reserve Force, maximum 2 weeks per year. Standby pay: Employee available for call-back duty or telephone consultation will be paid $3.30 per hour of standby time, $4.90 per hour on holidays. Minimum $5 for each 8-hour period. Responsibility pay: If employee is assigned temporarily to perform responsibilities of higher-paying classification for 1 full shift or more, she will be paid $1.40 per hour for duration of assignment. Hearing aids: $300 every 36 months.
