Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 20, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2019. Signed on Feb. 10, 2016. 
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 1.75%
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1.7%
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2%
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 2%
Shift premium: When required to work 65 to 200 feet above ground, also paid pro rata rate with a minimum bonus payment of 1 hour. For heights of more than 200 feet, minimum bonus payment of 2 hours at pro rata rate.
Paid holidays: 9 holidays, 3 floater days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 25 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for 8 hours per day or 40 straight-time hours. Employees may be compensated for overtime by time off in lieu of payment, not exceeding 40 hours at any one time.
Meal allowance: $38 per day (breakfast $7, lunch $10, dinner $21) for meal expenses while away from headquarters. Employees working during meal hour paid overtime rate.
STD: First 8 weeks at 100%; next 18 weeks at 80%,
LTD: 100%.
Pension: Company pension plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of employee’s spouse, children, parent; 3 days for death of employee’s grandparent, spouse’s grandparent, grandchild, brother, sister, stepbrother and stepsister, stepparent, in-laws, stepchildren, any relative living in the same residence. Up to 1 week additional leave if more than 200 km of travel required.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. 1 year for construction forces.  
Probationary period: 6 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for written warning or caution, 5 years for any records of discipline.
Severance: Equivalent to layoff allowance plan: Full-time employees with 3 or more years of service are entitled to allowance of: 5 weeks after 3 but less than 4 years’ service; 6 weeks after 4 but less than 5; 7 weeks after 5 years but less than 6; eight weeks after 6 years but less than 7; 9 weeks after 7 years but less than 8; 10 weeks after 8 years but less than 9; 11 weeks after 9 years but less than 10; 20 weeks after 10 years but less than 11; 22 weeks after 11 years but less than 12; 24 weeks after 12 years but less than 14; 26 weeks after 13 years but less than 14; and 28 weeks after 14 years but less than 15 years. After 15 years, 2 weeks’ additional pay for each full year of service, up to 52 weeks.
Safety shoes: All safety required paid for by company except $145 per year for safety boots.

Editor’s notes: Maternity leave: up to 11 weeks before expected due date; leave ends no later than 17 weeks from start of leave. Education leave: Company pays $.02 cents per hour per employee for all compensated hours.
