Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2014, to June 30, 2018. Signed on April 21, 2016. 
Wage adjustments: 
Effective July 1, 2014: $750 lump sum.
Effective July 1, 2015: 1%
Effective July 1, 2016: 1.25%
Effective July 1, 2017: 1.25%
Paid holidays: 10 days, plus all days off between Christmas and New Year’s day.
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days to start, 15 days after 1 year, 16 days after 3 years, 17 days after 4 years, 18 days after 5 years, 19 days after 6 years, 20 days after 7 years, 21 days after 10 years, 22 days after 12 years, 23 days after 14 years, 24 days after 16 years, 25 days after 18 years, 26 days after 19 years, 27 days after 20 years, 28 days after 22 years, 29 days after 24 years, 30 days after 25 years.  
Overtime: Time and one-half, double time if worked on Sunday. 
Meal allowance: Maximum $10 reimbursed, if worked more than 1 hour overtime.
Dental: 100% premiums paid by employer. Major restorative: 75% co-insurance, maximum $3,000 per year. Orthodontic: 50% co-insurance, lifetime maximum of $2,000.
Vision: $250 every 2 years.
Sick leave: Maximum 6 months, 3 days for probationary workers. Employer will cover cost of medical certificate for sickness, maximum $25. Employer will cover cost of medical certificate for fitness to work, maximum $50.
LTD: 100% premiums paid by employer. 
Life insurance: 55% paid by employer, 45% by employee.
Pension: Revised Pension Plan of Queen’s University
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in family (parent, spouse, partner, child, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparent, grandchild).
Probationary period: 3 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Sample rates of pay (current, after 1.25% increase):
LT2: $37,903 rising to $38,377
LT3: $39,343 rising to $39,835
LT4: $46,853 rising to $47,439
LT5: $53,138 rising to $53,802
LT6: $55,730 rising to $56,427
Editor’s notes: Moving day: 1 day. Tuition reimbursement: Maximum $400 per year. Child care benefit: Maximum 50% of rate paid, maximum $30. Half-day maximum $15. Monthly full-day $600, half-day $330. Tuition support: For spouse or child of employee, $4,000 per year maximum.
