Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2016, to June 30, 2020. Signed on Feb. 2, 2017.
Shift premium: $1.25 per hour (previously $1.20 per hour) for work starting after noon but before 9 p.m. $1.25 per hour (previously $1.20 per hour) for work starting after 9 p.m. but before 4 a.m. $1.25 per hour for each hour worked between 11 p.m. Friday and 11 p.m. Sunday.
Paid holidays: 12 days, plus 1 floating holiday. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 23 years. 1 additional day per year after 23 years, maximum 5 days. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after normal work day or normal work week or on Saturdays. Double time for all work on Sundays or second regular day off. 
Meal allowance: $11 when employee works 3 or more continuous hours, continuous with regular working day.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $525 (previously $500) every 2 years. 
Paramedical: $300 per year each for chiropractor, osteopath, naturopath, podiatrist. $850 per year for psychologist.
Sick leave: 1 1/2 days per month of service; 1 1/4 days per month for employees hired after Aug. 13, 2013.
LTD: 70% of employee’s normal monthly salary after 17-week or 119-day waiting period.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 2 times annual earnings.
Pension: All permanent full-time employees must immediately participate in Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, child, mother, father. 3 days for death of brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law. 2 days for death of own grandparent, spouse’s grandparent, own grandchild, spouse’s grandchild. 1 day for memorial or burial service to be held at later date.
Seniority - recall rights: 24 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum of 3 hours’ pay at applicable overtime rate.
Probationary period: 5 months of service or 100 actual days worked, whichever is greater.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 6 months for verbal warnings; 12 months for written warnings; 18 months for suspensions less than 2 days or less; 24 months for suspensions 3 days or more.
Safety shoes: $270 per year  for safety footwear for survey technician, survey technician 1, environmental officer 2, technician 1 - construction. $90 per year (previously $80 per year) for employees in corporate publishing.
Uniforms/clothing: Laboratory technologists and laboratory technicians will be provided with 3 lab coats per year.
Mileage: $0.50 per kilometre.

Prescription safety glasses: Employer will pay, maximum $225 (single vision) and $275 (bifocals) for 1 pair of CSA-approved prescription safety eye glasses.
