Wage adjustments:
Effective Aug. 25, 2015: 1.5%
Effective Aug. 25, 2016: 1.5%
Effective Aug. 25, 2017: 1.5%
Effective Aug. 25, 2018: 1.75%
Effective Aug. 25, 2019: 1.75%

Shift premium: $2.50 per hour for all time worked during the night shift.

Paid holidays: 10 days.

Vacations with pay: 1 day per month worked to a maximum of 10 days to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks after 10 years and 5 weeks after 18 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked beyond 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s spouse, child, father or mother. 3 days for employee’s brother, sister, father-in-law or mother-in-law. 1 day for employee’s son-in-law, daughter-in-law, stepfather, stepmother, grandparent, grandchild, brother-in-law or sister-in-law. 1 additional day if the service takes place more than 250 km from employee’s residence.

Seniority – recall rights: 1 year for full-time employees and 8 months for part-time employees.

Probationary period: 6 months or 600 hours worked.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 9 months for a suspension and 6 months for other discipline.

Sales: $19.34 per hour
Returns: $17.68
Checkout: $16.68
Reception: $16.36

Editor’s notes: Birth or adoption: 1 paid and 2 unpaid days. Marriage: 1 paid day for the employee’s marriage or for the marriage of the employee’s child, father or mother. Maternity leave: 20 unpaid weeks. Paternity leave: 5 unpaid weeks. Parental leave: 52 unpaid weeks. Family obligations: 10 unpaid days.
