Renewal agreement: Effective Nov. 12, 2017, to June 30, 2020. Signed on Nov. 12, 2017.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 10% each paycheque. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 50 hours per week and on Saturday and Sunday. 
Medical benefits: Employer will pay $4.66 per hour ($4.46 per hour for ISM workers) into New Brunswick Carpenters Health Insurance Trust Fund.
Pension: Employer will pay $1.50 per hour ($1.25 per hour for ISM workers) into New Brunswick Carpenters Health Insurance Trust Fund.
Bereavement leave: 7 days for death of wife, child, mother, father. 4 days for death of brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide where necessary, raincoats, rubber boots, safety helmets, safety goggles.
Tool allowance: Employer will provide secure building for employees to store tools and is responsible for compensation or replacement of tools by “brand name” destroyed or damaged by fire or lost by theft. Liability will not exceed value of tools or $1,000 whichever is lesser. If power tools, patent mitre boxes, staplers are required, they will be supplied by employer.
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 5.3% increase):
Red Seal carpenters: $25.74 rising 2 steps to $27.10
ISM: $25.59 rising 2 steps to $26.95
Journeyman carpenter: $24.48 rising 2 steps to $25.85
Sample rates of hourly pay (current):
Foreman: $4 above current journeyman or Red Seal journeyman basic hourly rate
First year (12 months): 75% of journeyman’s rate
First sector completed: 80% of journeyman’s rate
Second sector completed: 85% of journeyman’s rate
