Renewal agreement: Effective Dec. 24, 2017, to Dec. 26, 2020. Ratified on July 30, 2018. Signed on July 30, 2018. 
Shift premium: $0.50 per hour for employee appointed as clerk-in-charge on shift when facility manager or assistant manager is not on shift.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 6% after 5 years. Employer will provide up to 2 weeks off between April 1 and Sept. 30 of each year.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours on 1 shift or 40 hours in 1 week. 
Medical benefits: Employer will contribute $0.20 per hour to Safeway UFCW Part Time Health and Welfare Trust Fund for each regular hour worked.
Dental: Employer will contribute $0.43 per hour to United Food and Commercial Workers Dental Care Plan for each regular hour worked.
Pension: Employer will contribute $1.25 per hour to Canadian Commercial Workers Industry Pension Plan for each hour worked, including overtime.
Bereavement leave: Employee will be granted leave of absence without pay, with consideration given to travel time, to attend funeral for death in immediate family (spouse, parent, stepparent, child, stepchild, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandmother, grandmother-in-law, grandfather, grandfather-in-law, and grandchildren, relative living in household of employee).
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at regular hourly rate.
Probationary period: 220 hours worked. 
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after increase):

0 to 1,000: $15 
1,001 to 2,000: $15 rising 2 steps to $15.10
2,001 to 3,000: $15 rising 2 steps to $15.15
3,001 to 4,000: $15 rising 2 steps to $15.20
4,001 to 5,000: $15 rising 2 steps to $15.25
5,001 to 6,000: $15 rising 2 steps to $15.30
6,001 to 7,000: $15 rising 2 steps to $15.40
7,001+: $15 rising 2 steps to $15.50
Signing bonus: $200 for employees who have averaged between 0 and 19 hours worked per week since contract expiry to Aug. 6, 2018; $300 for employees who have averaged more than 19 hours worked per week since contract expiry to Aug. 6, 2018. 
Editor’s notes: Meetings: Employees will be paid for all time spent in attendance at meetings at regular hourly rate of pay. Education and training fund: Employer will contribute $0.04 per hour for each regular hour worked to United Food and Commercial Workers Canada Union, Local No. 401 Education and Training Fund.
