Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2015, to Dec. 31, 2016. Signed on Jan. 1, 2015.

Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 1.3%

Shift premium: $2.50 per hour for employees temporarily assigned the responsibilities of a supervisor. 70¢ per hour for time worked between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. 30¢ per hour for time worked on Saturday or Sunday.

Paid holidays: 11 days.

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 9 years, 5 weeks after 18 years and 6 weeks after 22 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for hours time worked beyond 7.5 hours per day or 37.5 hours per week.

Meal allowance: $5 when an employee is required to work 3 or more hours overtime.

Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of billed premiums for the Extended Health Care Plan.

Dental: Employer pays 100% of billed premiums for the dental plan, equivalent to Blue Cross #9 based on the current O.D.A. Fee Schedule.

Vision: Employer pays 100% of billed premiums for vision care coverage to a maximum of $300 ever 2 years. Subject to an annual deductible of $10 single and $20 family.

Sick leave: Full-time employees accumulate sick leave credits at the rate of 1.5 days per month to a maximum of 160 days.

LTD: Employer pays 100% of billed premiums for the Long Term Disability Plan or its equivalent.

Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of billed premiums for the Group Life Insurance Plan. Benefits include life insurance coverage 3 times the employee’s annual salary rounded to the closest $100.

Bereavement leave: 6 days for employee’s spouse, child, stepchild, foster child, parent, stepparent, foster parent, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, foster brother or foster sister. 3 days for employee’s parent-in-law, grandparent or grandchild. 1 day for employee’s brother-in-law, sister-in-law, uncle, aunt, nephew or niece. 2 additional paid days when the burial occurs more than 400 km from the employee’s home.

Seniority – recall rights: 2 years.

Probationary period: 3 months for full-time employees. 460 hours worked for part-time employees.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year.

Uniforms/clothing: Reimbursement of $150 per year.
