Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2020. Signed on June 14, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2020: 1.5%
(Increase will be greater of 1.5% or September increase of all items consumer price index for Prince Edward Island (not seasonally adjusted) published by Statistics Canada, compared to same Sept. 1 year earlier. 2002 index will be used.)
Shift premium: $2.75 per hour for working on evening or night shift beginning at 6 p.m. and on weekends from 6 p.m. on Friday to 7 a.m. on Monday. $0.25 per hour for all bilingual staff. $0.50 per hour for welder-certificate allowance.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 0.83 days per month, maximum 2 weeks to start, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for work after regular hours. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Sick leave: 10 personal leave days to start, 11 days in second year of agreement, 12 days in years 3 and 4 of agreement.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Pension: Employer contributes 6% to RRSP, employee contributes 6%. 
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, child, stepchild, parent. 3 days for death of grandparent, brother, sister, parent-in-law, spouse of parent-in-law. 1 day for death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law. Up to 1 day for death of grandchild, aunt, uncle, nephew, niece.
Call-in pay: Minimum of 3 hours of regular pay per call or at overtime rate, whichever is greater, plus $0.36-per-kilometre transportation allowance or out-of-pocket expenses for other means of commercial transportation.
Probationary period: 90 days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Safety shoes: $300 per year (previously $260 per year) for maintenance employee or patroller. $150 per year (previously $130 per year) for operations employee, may be carried over into following year, maximum $300.

Toll collector: $17.13 rising 1 step to $17.39
Bridge patroller: $19.83 rising 1 step to $20.13
Shuttle driver: $17.83 rising 1 step to $18.23
Bridge controller: $24.22 rising 1 step to $24.58
Maintenance
Maintenance worker/operator: $20.71 rising 1 step to $21.02
Maintenance worker: $19.88 rising 1 step to $20.18
Electrician (red-seal): $26.01 rising 1 step to $26.40
Boom/bucket operator: $21.43 rising 1 step to $21.75
Boat captain (note 1): $20.71 rising 1 step to $21.02
Electrician apprentice first year (2,000 hrs 75%): $19.50 rising 1 step to $19.80
Electrician apprentice second year (4,000 hrs 80%): $20.81 21.12
Electrician apprentice third year (6,000 hrs 85%): $22.11 rising 1 step to $22.44
Electrician apprentice fourth year (8,000 hrs 90%): $23.43 rising 1 step to $23.76
Editor’s notes: Flexible allowance: Employee may, at any time, cash in portion or all of employee’s personal days (yearly entitlement) earned or transfer to RRSPs at financial institution of employee’s choice.
