Renewal agreement: Effective Nov. 30, 2016, to Nov. 30, 2020. Signed on May 29, 2016.
Shift premium: Flight-duty time premiums (gross) for regular flights: $100 when duty exceeds 14 hours; $200 when duty exceeds 15 hours; $700 when duty exceeds 16 hours. Flight-duty time premiums (gross) for augmented flights: $100 when duty exceeds 15 hours; $200 when duty exceeds 16 hours; $700 when exceeds 17 hours. Training pilots, ACPs will receive $30 per block hour for line-indoctrination flights and line-check flights. ACPs will receive $250 for each completed Transport Canada 0249 Form after issuance of PPC.
Paid holidays: 9 days. 
Vacations with pay: 0.83 days per month to start, 10 days after 1 year, 15 days after 4 years, 20 days after 10 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work between 90 and 100 hours per month. Double time for all work after 100 hours per month.
Sick leave: 10 days per year.
Pension: Employee contributes 4%, employer contributes 2% to company retirement savings plan. After 3 years, employer contributes 3%; after 4 years, employer contributes 4%. After 5 years, employee contributes 5%, employer contributes 5%; after 6 years, employee contributes 6%, employer contributes 6%. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, foster-parent, brother, sister, spouse, common-law partner resident with employee, child, child of common-law partner, grandchild, grandparent, stepchild, ward of employee, father-in-law, mother-in-law, relative residing in employee’s household).
Seniority – recall rights: 4 years.
Probationary period: 12 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for suspensions 3 days or less, 24 months for suspensions more than 3 days.
Uniforms/clothing: Employee pays 50% of cost of uniform, maximum $500. Uniform will consist of: 1 tunic every 48 months on employee’s anniversary, 3 trousers, (2 pairs replaced every 2 years on employee’s anniversary), 2 ties, 7 shirts, (4 shirts replaced every year on employee’s anniversary), 2 wings, 1 pair of epaulettes, 1 overcoat, (1 overcoat every 4 years on employee’s anniversary), 1 reflective vest, 1 carry-on bag, Sunwing lanyard. Employer will pay allowance of $52.30 per month uniform maintenance, miscellaneous items. Allowance will increase 1.5% per year for life of agreement.
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 7% increase):
Year 1
Captain: $100.53 rising 4 steps to $107.76
First officer: $54.19 rising 4 steps to $58.08
Sample rates of lump sum pay (current, after 1.5% increase):
Captain: $1,005.30 rising 1 step to $1,020.40 
First officer: $541.90 rising 1 step to $550
Editor’s notes: Paid education leave: Employer will pay $8,000 per year into paid education leave fund established by Unifor. Smoking: While in uniform, employees must not smoke in view of public or smoke in confined space that would cause clothing to smell of smoke. Lost, stolen or damaged baggage: If employee loses bag while travelling on company business, maximum $800 per bag will be compensated. Prisoner of war, hostage, hijacking, internment or missing: If employee, while on assignment or engaged in course of duties, is captured, taken prisoner, confined or held hostage, or is missing in action, he will be paid 100% of salary, until such time as he is released or recognized as legally deceased, maximum 12 months.
