Renewal agreement: Effective March 19, 2016, to March 18, 2021. Signed on May 18, 2016. 
Wage adjustments: 
Effective March 19, 2017: 2.5%

Shift premium: $1 for each hour worked between 4:30 pm in the warehouse and 10:30 p.m. in the garage, and until the start of the day shift. $1 for each hour worked in the freezer on days or nights.
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 day for each full month of employment under 1 year, to a maximum of 10 days. 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years (As of Jan. 1, 2017: 6 weeks after 30 years).
Overtime:  For a 5-day work week employee, time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of 8 hours in a day and/or 40 hours in a week, and for all hours worked on the sixth and seventh day of the employee’s regular work week. For a  4-day work week employee, time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of 10 hours in a day and/or 40 hours in a week, and for all hours worked on the fifth, sixth and seventh day of the employee’s regular work week.
Meal allowance: For drivers required to sleep away, breakfast $10, lunch $15, dinner $20. Drivers required to stay overnight while on route shall receive an overnight bonus of $50.
Medical benefits: 100% of the premiums in the group insurance plan. Supplementary Medical Expense Benefit 100% of eligible expenses subject to a $1 per prescription deductible.
Dental: A level two or reasonable equivalent dental plan will be provided at a 2-year lag in current ODA (Ontario Dental Association) rates. Effective in the first full pay period following March 19, 2020: Orthodontic coverage for dependant children 50% reimbursement capped at a $1,500 lifetime maximum; major dental coverage at 50% reimbursement to a lifetime maximum of $1,500; crowns at 50% reimbursement to a lifetime maximum of $1,500.
Vision: Up to $225 every 24 months.
Weekly indemnity: Sickness - Accident Weekly Indemnity Plan equal to 67% of employee’s gross weekly earnings, calculated as the average gross weekly earnings of the prior 16 weeks, to a maximum benefit of $1,500 per week, for a period of 26 weeks. 
Sick leave: 40 paid sick hours per calendar year. 
LTD: 100% of the premium.
Life insurance: 100% of the cost of the premiums in the present group insurance plan or its equivalent.
Pension: Employer contributes to SYSCO Pension Plan. Monthly contribution effective first full pay period following: March 19, 2016: $255; March 19, 2017: $260; March 19, 2018: $265; March 19, 2019: $270; March 19, 2020: $275.
Bereavement leave: Up to 5 days for death of spouse, child, stepchild. Up to 3 days for father, stepfather, mother, stepmother, brother, stepbrother, sister, stepsister, father-in law, mother in-law. 1 day for grandparents, brother-in law, sister-in law.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months
Probationary period: 1,040 hours worked.
Severance: 120 hours per year of service, pro-rated on a monthly basis (regularly hourly rate), to a maximum of 40 weeks. 
Safety shoes: $275 for seniority employees.
Uniforms/clothing: Cold environment clothing for employees who regularly work in the freezer including 1 freezer jacket, 1 pair of freezer pants, gloves as needed, 1 balaclava. Cooler jackets every 18 months for those employees who regularly work in the cooler. 
Tool allowance: Up to $625 per year for replacement or upgrading of tools, for mechanics. Up to $325 for mechanics and maintenance to purchase prescription safety glasses.

Warehouse associate: $25.89, rising in 4 steps to $29
Driver: $27.67 rising in 4 steps to $30.99
Mechanic Class 31OJ: $30.91 rising in 4 steps to $34.62 
Mechanic Class 31OT: $31.65 rising in 4 steps to $35.45 
Maintenance - (Refrigeration Class B): $30.91 rising in 4 steps to $34.62 
Maintenance - licensed electrician: $30.91 rising in 4 steps to $34.62
Editor’s notes: Holiday pay: An employee who works a paid holiday can be paid for the holiday or bank the holiday to be taken at a mutually agreeable time. If any of the paid holidays are worked, they shall be paid for at 2 times the regular hourly rate for such hours worked in addition to pay for the holiday. Overtime: May be banked in hours, up to a maximum of 160, to the credit of the employee and such time will be in the ratio of time and one-half (1 Y2) for each overtime hour worked or part thereof.
