Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2018. Signed on Jan. 18, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Feb. 1, 2016: 2.25%
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 2%
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2.50%
Shift premium: $3 per hour will be provided to certified trainers who provide training courses. 5.1% of operations operator’s hourly rate for hours worked outside 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. 8% of hourly rate for hours worked between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. $0.50 per hour for employees who do emergency utility dig-up in -25 C or lower temperatures. $1 per hour for employee meeting dual certification for posted position. $0.42 per hour for senior transit utility workers when performing supervisory duties.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days to start, 20 days after 7 years, 25 days after 14 years, 30 days after 21 years. 
Overtime: Double time for all work after regular hours. May be banked, maximum 80 hours. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums.
Vision: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums.
Sick leave: One-half day per month, maximum 120 days' accumulation. 50% of accumulation will be paid to employee upon retirement or death.
LTD: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums for 75% coverage.
AD&D: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums.
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in family (father, mother, brother, sister, spouse, child of employee, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, son-in-law, daughter-in-law). 3 additional days for travel, if required.
Seniority - recall rights: 1 year. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay at overtime rate.
Probationary period: 180 days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Safety shoes: $150 reimbursed.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide protective clothing for workers in wet conditions. Employer will purchase and supply summer coveralls and either winter coveralls or winter jackets as required to employees.
Tool allowance: $20 per month to automotive service worker and transit service workers. $50 per month to apprentice technicians, outdoor power equipment technician, automotive technicians, heavy duty technicians, maintenance planner lead hands, team lead garage shop workers.
