Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2016, to Aug. 31, 2019. Ratified on Jan. 29, 2017. Signed on Jan. 29, 2017.
Shift premium: $2.10 per hour for working night shift. 
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus birthday off. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks to start, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 16 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for first hour, double time thereafter. May be banked, maximum 5 days, and taken as time off.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of Alberta Health Care Insurance costs and 75% of employer health and welfare plan.
Vision: $325 every 2 years.
STD: 80% or 66 2/3% of pay based on employee’s years of service, maximum 17-week benefit period.
Pension: Employer will contribute 4.25% per shift per employee to CWA/ITU Pension Plan (Canada).
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parents, spouse, common-law spouse, children, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, grandparents, spouse’s parents, stepparents, stepchildren). 2 additional days for travel if required. 1 day for death in extended family (nieces, nephews, stepbrothers, stepsisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts).
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay at overtime rate.
Probationary period: 3 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Severance: 2 weeks’ per year of service (minimum 3 weeks’ pay), maximum 48 weeks.
Safety shoes: $110 every 18 months for employees in mailroom.
Mileage: $0.46 cents per kilometre.

Editor’s notes: Parking: Employer will provide adequate parking for all employees who are required to use vehicle in course of employment. Each employee is limited to maximum of 1 free classified advertisement per day: each advertisement must not exceed 28 words; each advertisement may be placed for maximum of 3 days; policy does not apply to employment, business services, financial and public notices; ads may be placed in personal classification for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries. Cellphone allowance:  $25 per month to each employee required to have cellphone. $75 per month to each out-of-town salesperson.
