Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 30, 2017, to March 31, 2019. Ratified on Jan. 23, 2017. Signed on April 28, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2017: 1.5%
Effective April 1, 2018: 1.5%
Shift premium: Night shift: $1.85 per hour for each hour worked between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. On-call premium: 1 day off with pay every 3 months. Weekend shift: $0.50 per hour for each hour worked between 5 p.m. on Friday and 7 a.m. on Monday
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 6% after 2 years, 8% after 10 years, 12% after 26 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half of all hours worked after regular hours. 
Medical benefits: The Salvation Army Group Benefit Plan. Health-spending account: $225.
Sick leave: 8 hours for every 160 hours worked, maximum 680 hours. For each 6-month period that employee is not absent due to sickness, disability, non-occupational accident, leave of absence without pay, employee will receive 1 bonus day off with pay.
Pension: The Salvation Army Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan. After probation: 4% of earnings. After 5 years’ service: 5% of earnings. After 10 years’ service: 6% of earnings. Employer will match contributions, maximum 2%.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex relationship, son-in-law, child, daughter-in-law, parent, mother-in-law, brother, father-in-law, sister, grandchild, guardian, grandparent, fiancé, niece, nephew, brother-in-law, sister-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours’ pay. $0.46 per kilometre for travel time during call-in.
Probationary period: 3 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
