Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2020. Ratified on April 19, 2018. Signed on May 22, 2018. 
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2%
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 2%
Effective Jan. 1, 2020: 2%
Shift premium: $1.75 per hour for all hours worked between 6 p.m. and midnight, and any hours worked on weekend. $2.50 per hour for all hours worked between midnight and 6 a.m.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days after 1 year, 16 days after 2 years, 17 days after 3 years, 18 days after 4 years, 19 days after 5 years, 20 days after 6 years, 21 days after 7 years, 22 days after 8 years, 23 days after 9 years, 24 days after 10 years, 25 days after 11 years, 26 days after 12 years, 27 days after 13 years, 28 days after 14 years, 29 days after 15 years, 30 days after 16 years. Maximum 1 week may be carried over into following year, but must be taken by March 31. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after regular hours. Double time for work between Friday at 2:30 p.m. and Monday at 6 a.m. May be taken as time off in lieu, maximum 40 hours in bank. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care. Employer will provide $500 per year wellness benefit. 
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for AUMA (Alberta Urban Municipalities Association) coverage. $500 per employee biannually. 
Sick leave: 144 hours per year. Maximum 720 hours may be accumulated. 
STD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for AUMA coverage. 
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for AUMA coverage. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for AUMA group life insurance coverage.
Pension: Membership in Local Authorities Pension Plan will be compulsory.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (current spouse, parent, grandparent, grandchild, parent of current spouse, child, ward, brother, sister, related dependant of employee). 5 days for funeral outside of province. 
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum of 2 hours’ pay at overtime rates.
Probationary period: 3 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay per year for first 18 years of service; 3 weeks’ pay per year for years of service after 18 years of service. Maximum payment 52 weeks of pay.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide hard hats, rubber boots, rainwear, gloves, specialty clothing required for work. Employer will pay employees $200 once per year in May for work clothing or CSA-approved safety boots.
