Renewal agreement: Effective April 22, 2017, to Oct. 31, 2020. Signed on Sept. 29, 2017.
Shift premium: $1 per hour for hours worked between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. $1 per hour for hours worked between Saturday 12:01 a.m. to Sunday 11:59 p.m. $1.25 per hour for employee appointed by company as lead-hand. $0.75 per hour for employee in role of trainer.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 0.833 of day per month worked, maximum 10 days or 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years. Maximum 6% of employees off at any one time during January, February, March, October, November, December; maximum 10% of employees off at any one time during April, May, June, July, August, September. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 or 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Employer will establish group registered retirement savings plan for employees who wish to participate. Employer will match employee contribution, maximum 4%, to registered defined contribution pension plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex spouse, child, stepchild, mother, father, stepparents, parents of spouse, stepparents, sister, brother, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparents of employee and spouse, grandchildren, legal guardians). Additional leave without pay may be granted.
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay after straight time rate. 
Probationary period: 3 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Severance: 1 week’s pay for each year of service, maximum 10 weeks, plus pro-rata amount for partial years of service.
Uniforms/clothing: Total $200 per year (previously $175 per year) for purchase of CSA class-1-approved boots, winter gloves, toques, winter coats, force-field protective clothing (safety hoodie with detachable hood, class 2 CSA-approved yellow).

Editor’s notes: Women’s advocate: 1 female shop steward will complete a 40-hour women’s advocacy training program and 3-day update training program. All costs, including lost time, will be paid through paid education leave program. Paid education leave: Employer pay $0.04 per hour (previously $0.03 per hour) per employee to Unifor Paid Education Leave Program. Safety prescription eye wear: Employer will reimburse employees, maximum $200 every 24 months, for approved safety prescription eyewear. Flex-hours: Employees will be entitled to receive 8 hours of approved time off. In each of following 2 years, and every year after that, employees will be entitled to 16 hours of approved time off. After 5 years of service, flex-time will increase to 24 hours; after 10 years of service, flex-time will increase to 32 hours.
