Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2016, to Aug. 31, 2019. Ratified on Sept. 8, 2016. Signed on Dec. 8, 2016. 
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Sept. 1, 2017: $0.50 per hour
Effective Sept. 1, 2018: $0.80 per hour
Shift premium: $50 per week when working shifts that do not start between the hours of 6 a.m. or 10 a.m. $30 per week for each Saturday or Sunday worked. $150 per week for being assigned to on-call duty roster. $1 per hour for company-designated first-aid attendants.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus employee’s birthday. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 18 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 25 years, 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after regular hours. May be banked, maximum 40 hours. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays all costs for Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Coverage is 100% for basic dental care, 50% for major dental care. 50% for orthodontics per dependant children, $2,000 lifetime maximum. 
Vision: $250 every 24 months.
AD&D: Employee pays premiums for maximum 5 times annual salary.
Life insurance: Employee pays $0.08 per $1,000 of insurance, employer pays the balance. Coverage is 2 times annual salary.
Pension: Employees eligible to participate in company’s corporate pension plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in the immediate family (spouse, common-law, child, stepchild, grandchild, sister, brother, mother, father, stepparent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandfather, grandmother, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, spouse’s grandparents, legal guardian, ward).
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at time and one-half. Double time for second and any subsequent call-ins on the same day or during regular day off. 
Probationary period: 65 days in a 12-month period. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay for each year of service.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply: coveralls, smocks, safety glasses, safety footwear, rubber clothes, rubber boots, gloves, storm coats, insulated weather-appropriate clothing.
Tool allowance: Employer will supply all tools and equipment.
