Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2017, to April 30, 2020. Signed on Sept. 18, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective May 1, 2017: 1.5%
Effective May 1, 2018: 1.5%
Effective May 1, 2019: 1.5%
Shift premium: 5% team-leader premium, if employees are within same salary band as group of employees to which they provide team leadership. $12 per additional language per week will be paid when employees use language (other than English) as normal part of job requirement. $0.50 per hour for shifts starting between noon and 6 p.m. $0.75 per hour for shifts starting between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. $0.55 per hour for shifts in which more than 50% of time worked falls on Saturday. $0.75 per hour for shifts in which more than 50% of time worked falls on Saturday. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 10 days after 1 year, 15 days after 2 years, 16 days after 5 years, 17 days after 6 years, 18 days after 7 years, 20 days after 8 years, 21 days after 12 years, 22 days after 14 years, 24 days after 16 years, 25 days after 17 years, 26 days after 23 years, 30 days after 28 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after regular hours, double time for work on Sunday. 
Meal allowance: $15 plus tax to employee who works more than 10 consecutive hours (exclusive of meal breaks and rest periods) at supervisor’s request.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 66 2/3% of premiums, employee pays 33 1/3% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. 
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Sick leave: 3 days in first 3 months of service, additional 10 days after 3 months of service, 13 days renewable on employee’s anniversary date.
LTD: Employer pays 66 2/3% of premiums, employee pays 33 1/3% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 66 2/3% of premiums, employee pays 33 1/3% of premiums.
Pension: Employee’s maximum contributions: Effective May 1, 2017: 7.75%; Effective May 1, 2018: 8%; Effective May 1, 2019: 8.25% for below YMPE. Effective May 1, 2017: 9.25%; Effective May 1, 2018: 9.5%; Effective May 1, 2019: 9.75% for above YMPE. 
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, same-sex partner, children, stepchildren, parent, stepparent, sibling, stepsibling. 3 days for death of grandparent, grandchild, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, ward.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay, at time and one-half.
Probationary period: 3 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Safety shoes: $190 for CSA-approved safety footwear.

Editor’s notes: Standby pay: $3 per hour when employees are on standby. Employees must be available to be at workplace within one-half hour when required. Safety glasses: Employer will pay for CSA-approved prescription safety glasses once every 2 years. Lump sum: Employees will receive lump-sum payment of $300 after ratification.
