Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2020. Ratified on Sept. 7, 2018. Signed on Oct. 5, 2018.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective 2018: 1%
Effective 2019: 1.75%
Effective 2020: 1.75%
Shift premium: 10% increase over regular wage rate for employee acting in temporary capacity as lead-hand for more than 1 day. 3.5% for second journeyman certification; 1.5% for third journeyman certification; maximum 5% for additional journeyman certifications.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days after 1 year, 20 days after 8 years, 25 days after 15 years, 30 days after 21 years. 2 weeks accumulated days may be carried over into following year; must be used within first 4 months. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for work in excess of regular hours of work. May be taken as time off in lieu. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care.
Dental: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums.
Vision: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums.
Sick leave: One-half day per month, maximum 18 days per year. Unused days may be carried forward into following year, but employee may only use maximum 18 sick days per year. 
STD: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums.
LTD: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums for coverage of $100,000.
Life insurance: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums for coverage of $100,000.
Pension: Employer, employee will make contributions to Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law partner, parent, grandparent, grandchild, guardian, parent of current spouse, child, ward, brother, sister, niece, nephew, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, fiancé, related dependant). Additional half-day for travel may be given. One-half day may be given for funeral of relative not specified. 
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum of 3 hours’ pay at overtime rates.
Probationary period: 3 months or 550 hours, depending on employee classifications. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years. Employer may only define longer period after major incidents related to: workplace health and safety, workplace substance abuse, theft or fraud, workplace bullying or harassment or human-rights offenses.
Safety shoes: After 12 months of service, employees will be reimbursed for 100% of purchase cost of approved safety boots, maximum $200. Reimbursement may be accumulated, maximum $300 over 2 years of service. 
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide all employees (except for clerical staff) with 2 pairs of coveralls at commencement of employment. Employees will do own cleaning and maintenance of coveralls and will be provided with replacement coveralls as required. Employees who require winter coveralls will be provided with 1 pair upon request and will be provided with replacement coveralls as required. Employer will pay $100 clothing allowance, on first pay day in July, to all motor-grader operators, truck drivers.
Tool allowance: $100 per month (previously $75 per month) for mechanics who supply own hand tools.
