Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 16, 2016, to Jan. 15, 2019. Signed on Jan. 16, 2016.
Shift premium: Bartender/server: When employee performs bartender duties for less than 50% of shift then employee will receive $0.50 per hour above server rate for all hours worked. Bartender: When employee performs bartender duties for 50% or more of shift then employee will receive $2 per hour above server rate for all hours worked in shift. Prep: $0.25 per hour will be paid for prep work. $0.50 per hour for professional cook/Red Seal designation for professional cook 1. Effective Jan. 16, 2017: $0.60 per hour. Effective Jan. 16, 2018: $0.70 per hour. $0.75 per hour for professional cook/Red Seal designation for professional cook 2. Effective Jan. 16, 2017: $0.85 per hour. Effective Jan. 16, 2018: $0.95 per hour. $1 per hour for professional cook/Red Seal designation for professional cook 3/red seal. Effective Jan. 16, 2017: $1.25 per hour. Effective Jan. 16, 2018: $1.50 per hour. $0.25 per hour for in-charge training. $0.20 per hour for in-charge responsibility. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 years, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 20 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 30 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per shift. Double time for all work after 10 hours per shift or sixth or seventh shifts per week. May be banked, maximum 12 hours. 
Meal allowance: Employees may purchase all food items at 35% of retail price. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 66.7% of premiums, employee pays 33.3% of premiums. 
Dental: 80% reimbursement for diagnostic services (oral examinations, X-rays, consultations). 80% reimbursement for preventative services (cleaning, scaling, X-rays). 50% reimbursement for crowns and bridges (not more than once every 5 years for same teeth); onlays or inlays involved in bridge-work (not more often than once every 5 years); partial dentures (not more than once every 5 years); complete upper and lower dentures (not more often than once every 5 years).
Vision: $50 per person per year for orthoptic. $130 per person every 24 months.
Paramedical: $100 per person per year for podiatry. $200 per person, maximum $500 per family per year for treatment by a licenced chiropractor or naturopath, X-rays excluded. 
Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 66.7% of premiums, employee pays 33.3% of premiums for coverage of 75% of weekly earnings, maximum 60% of U.I.C. insurable maximum.
AD&D: Employer pays 66.7% of premiums, employee pays 33.3% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 66.7% of premiums, employee pays 33.3% of premiums for coverage of $30,000.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (children, spouse, parents, brothers, sisters, parents-in-law, stepparents, foster-children, any relative residing with employee). 1 day for death of grandparents, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law. Maximum 10 days off if requested by employee.
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months with less than 3 years of seniority, 12 months after 3 years of seniority. 
Probationary period: 30 days worked or 60 days, whichever occurs first. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Severance: 1 week’s pay per year of service, maximum 16 weeks.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply and launder all required uniforms. $0.75 per shift (previously $0.70 per shift) when employees must launder own uniforms.

Editor’s notes: Contact with janitors working alone: Employer will make regular contact at least once per shift when janitors work alone. Notification to authorities of hazardous substances: No employee will be disciplined for notifying appropriate authorities of release of hazardous substances to air, earth or water systems. However, it is expected that employer will be notified first.
