Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2014, to June 30, 2018. Signed on Jan. 19, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective first day of fall term 2015: 2%
Effective first day of fall term 2016: 2%
Effective first day of fall term 2017: 1.5%
Effective first day of fall term 2018: 1.5%
Dental: Employer-paid dental insurance plan.
Sick leave: 20 days per year. Can be carried forward to a maximum of 145 days. Up to 3 days can be used per school year to attend to the illness of a spouse, child, parents, sibling or in-laws.
STD: Union provides short-term disability plan.
Life insurance: Employer administers group life insurance plan.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 calendar year after Sept. 30 following date of layoff.

Editor’s notes: Preparation time: Minimum of 180 minutes of preparation time for full-time elementary teachers and 240 minutes for full-time secondary teachers per 6-day cycle. Sabbatical leave allowance: $1,500 per year for travel. $3,000 per year or two-thirds percentage of salary including increases negotiated during the sabbatical leave, whichever is the greater, for study.
