Wages rise in all three years of new collective agreement: UFCW

The new agreement contains yearly wage increases of 1.75 per cent in the first year, 2.25 per cent in years two and three of the contract and 1.75 per cent in year four. As well, workers will receive an additional 3.5 per cent wage adjustment for 14 different job classifications, said the union.
The Carberry plant processes more than 430 million pounds of Manitoba-grown potatoes each year, according to the UFCW.
