Renewal agreement: Effective June 1, 2014, to May 31, 2017. Signed on July 10, 2015. 

Wage adjustments: 
Effective June 1, 2014: 3%
Effective June 1, 2015: 2.75%
Effective June 1, 2016: 2.75%

Shift premium: $1 per hour for all hours worked between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. $1 per hour for employees training new workers. $1 per ticket written for patrollers. $5 per hour for employees required to make limousine runs. 
Paid holidays: 10 days. 

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks after 8 years and 5 weeks after 15 years.  

Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked beyond 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. 

Meal allowance: $10 after more than 9 hours of work. 

Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for the Ontario Health Insurance Plan. 

Sick leave: 7 days. Any unused sick days will be paid out at a rate of 100% per day at the end of the year. 

Bereavement leave: 5 paid days for employee’s child, spouse, father, mother, brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, uncle, aunt, cousin, stepparent, stepsibling or a person living with the employee. Additional 5 unpaid days upon request. 1 day for person outside employee’s immediate family or a close friend. 

Seniority – recall rights: 1 year. 

Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay.

Probationary period: 3 months. 

Severance: 2 weeks’ pay per year of service to a maximum payout of 40 weeks. 

Uniforms/clothing: Employer provides uniforms. 

Sample rates of pay (current, after 2.75% increase):
Attendant: $12.69 per hour rising in 4 steps to $14.83
Maintenance: $12.69 rising in 4 steps to $14.83
Valet: $12.69 rising in 4 steps to $14.70
Flagger: $12.69 rising in 4 steps to $14.83
Loading dock: $12.69 rising in 4 steps to $14.73
Customer service representative: $12.69 rising in 4 steps to $15.18

Editor’s notes: Parental leave: Maternity and parental leave will not exceed 1 year. Trust fund: The employer contributes $220 per month for each full-time employee to the UFCW Benefit Trust Fund (previously $214). Red circle: Red-circled employees will receive a $15 lump sum payment every pay period.
