Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2019 to Dec. 31, 2022. Ratified on May 25, 2019. Signed on May 24, 2019.
Shift premium: $1.40 per hour (previously $1.30 per hour) for all hours worked between 5 p.m. and 6 a.m. Effective 2020: $1.45; Effective 2021: $1.50; Effective 2022: $1.55. $1.30 per hour for all hours worked on night shift (delivery merchandisers only). Effective 2020: $1.35; Effective 2021: $1.40; Effective 2022: $1.40. $23 per night for all hours worked overnight (delivery merchandisers only). Effective 2020: $24; Effective 2021: $25. $2 per hour for lead-hands. Effective Jan. 1, 2020: $2.15. $0.02-per-kilometre incentive mileage for transport drivers (based on driver’s overall driving record, care of equipment, other criteria, measured during quarterly review). $0.34 rising 3 steps to $0.35 per kilometre (excluding B.C. kilometres) for transport drivers.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 floater day (for production, maintenance and quality employees floater will be taken on Christmas Eve; for all other employees floater will be taken at mutually agreed-upon time).
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 16 years, 6 weeks after 23 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week or for all authorized hours worked after 4-day, 10-hours per day, 40-hour week schedule. Time and one-half for all work on sixth or seventh day worked for delivery merchandisers; double time or all work after 9 hours per day. Time and one-half for all work on fifth, sixth or seventh day worked for delivery merchandisers who work 4-day, 10-hours per day schedule; double time or all work after 11 hours per day. May be taken as time off in lieu and banked; employees may bank either 40 or 80 or 120 hours per year. Accumulated, banked overtime must be taken by April 1 of following year. Any overtime not converted into time off with pay is paid out by closest pay date after April 1.
Meal allowance: After 2 hours of overtime (without 24 hours’ notice): $11 effective Jan. 1, 2020 (previously $10). Effective Jan. 1, 2021: $12.

LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for core 35% benefit (employees may top up benefit at own cost).
Pension: Pension Plan for Employees of PepsiCo Beverages (Canada) ULC, Part 2 Defined Contribution Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse (as legally defined), parent, stepparent, child, stepchild, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, grandchild). 3 days for death of mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparent; additional 2 days to attend funeral at employer’s discretion.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at regular rate of pay unless deemed to be overtime, when overtime rate of pay will apply. Market equipment employee, based in Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, who is called in, will receive overtime pay for all hours worked from time they leave home until they return home (directly) from call-in.
Probationary period: 960 hours worked.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay (80 hours) multiplied by employees wage rate for every year of service, maximum 52 weeks.
Safety shoes: $180 per year (previously $160 per year) for approved safety footwear. Effective Jan. 1, 2020: $220 per year. Effective Jan. 1, 2022: $230 per year.
Uniforms/clothing: Employees whose work requires them to wear protective devices may obtain following from employer: eye protective-devices, gloves, winter gloves, coveralls, hearing protection, face masks; when handling acids: aprons, gloves, rubber boots. Employer will provide, clean standard coveralls for maintenance, fleet employees.
Mileage: $0.42 per business kilometres for using personal vehicle
