Bill Palamar no longer at CCHRA: Chair

Council looking for replacement for former executive director

Bill Palamar, former executive director of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations (CCHRA), has left the association and is pursuing other opportunities, according to the council. His last day was April 17.

"Bill is looking forward to his future challenges. The CCHRA board appreciates all of Bill's hard work and wishes him only the best in the future," said Patrick Hartling, CCHRA board chair, in an announcement.

The council will be moving quickly to hire a replacement and the executive committee met with staff to work with them on plans moving forward, he said.

"The staff is looking forward to the upcoming challenges and the CCHRA executive has the highest confidence in their ability to continue to serve the member associations and the CCHRA in achieving its goals," said Hartling.

Palamar joined the CCHRA in July 2010 and previously was national human resources director at Scouts Canada for 11 years.
