Learning from one another

HR mentoring program launched in Toronto

The Toronto HR Professionals Association (THRPA) has introduced a mentoring program for HR professionals.

Mentors must be a THRPA member at the manager level or above with at least five years’ experience and hold the Certified Human Resources Professionals (CHRP) designation.

Those who wish to be mentored must be an employed HRPAO or THRPA member with a minimum of six months’ experience and be working towards the CHRP designation.

The program is an opportunity for seasoned HR professionals to develop the next generation whilst receiving CHRP recertification points and gives the less experienced the opportunity to learn from them.

If you want to be a mentor or want to be mentored click here and complete this questionnaire and return it to [email protected] by September 15, 2006.

Mentors and proteges will be matched during an information night on November 9, 2006.
