More than 60 employees who were fired from an Italian auto parts manufacturing company in India have been arrested in connection with the beating death of the company's chief executive officer.

Lalit Kishore Choudhary, the 47-year-old CEO of Graziano Trasmissioni India, died after being attacked with iron rods and wooden sticks inside the company factory on the outskirts of New Delhi on Sept. 22.

Police have charged 63 former workers with murder. The workers had been called in to settle a dispute that had led to the dismissal of about 200 employees.
