Employers may be ready to rehire but laid-off workers seldom return
There are signs the economy is improving and some employers that laid off workers in the past year are looking to rehire. But many employees will be wary of returning to their former workplaces, said Katherine Vanderberg, principal of HR consulting firm Feldman Daxon Partners in Toronto.
