Labour relations will be positive this year, with few work stoppages, according to a report by the Conference Board of Canada.

Only three per cent of organizations surveyed by the Board said they expect a strike or lockout this year.

The Conference Board expects modest wage gains in the year ahead. Wages are expected to increase at about 3.6 per cent in the non-union sector and 2.5 per cent in the unionized sector.
