Medical Benefits: Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario Employee Life and Health Trust (ETFO ELHT) funded by employer and union.
Dental: Covered under ETFO ELHT; teachers on self-funded leave must pay for benefits.
Vision: Covered under ETFO ELHT; teachers on self-funded leave must pay for benefits
Short-term disability: Permanent full-time teachers allocated 120 STD days at 90% salary each school year. Part-time receive pro-rated allocation. Can be topped up with unused sick days from last year worked.
Long-term disability: Employer pays premiums.
Pension: Teachers Pension Plan run by union. Teachers under contract to the employer on June 30, 1976 entitled to sick leave retirement gratuity after age 55 with 10 years of service.
Bereavement leave: Granted at the discretion of the designated superintendent, in consultation with the principal. Not deductible from sick leave credits. Up to 5 paid days per school year of personal/family leave.
Sick leave: Permanent full-time teachers: 11 days at 100% salary each school year. Part-time teachers: pro-rated.
Seniority – recall rights: Two years.
Discipline: Two-year sunset clause. Doesn’t apply to discipline with respect to an issue reported to, investigated, and substantiated through the Ontario College of Teachers.
Severance: Redundant teachers may receive 5.15% of final salary per year of service.
Mileage: Teachers required to travel for work are reimbursed at the Board's rate; moving allowance of $1,000 for transfers over 50 km from former school.

Category A: $51,275 - $90,365 in 2022, rising in 3 steps to $55,622 - $98,027 in 2025.
Category A4: $62,657 - $110,609 in 2022, rising in 3 steps to $67,970 - $119,987 in 2025.
