Renewal agreement: Effective Feb. 1, 2016, to Jan. 31, 2020. Ratified on May 17, 2016. Signed on May 4, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
For associates excluding major home fashions
Effective Aug. 1, 2016: 1.5%
Effective Aug. 1, 2017: 1.25%
Effective Aug. 1, 2018: 1.25%
Effective Aug. 1, 2019: 1.25%
Shift premium: Sunday pay: Actual hours worked or 7.5 hours, whichever is greater. First-aid level 2: $0.40 per hour. Inventory night shifts, other over-night shifts: $1 per hour for shifts beginning after 9 p.m. and ending before 6 a.m.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: For regular full-time associates hired before Oct. 28, 2008: 1 day per month, maximum 2 weeks to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 20 years. All full-time associates hired after Oct. 28, 2008: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years; 1 additional week after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 7.5 hours per day or 37.5 hours per week for regular full-time, part-time workers. Time and one-half for all hours worked after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week for flex full-time or auxiliary associates. Double time for overtime hours after 4 hours in one day.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (parent, child, spouse, common-law relationships, same-sex relationships, brother, sister, guardian, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, stepparents, stepchildren, foster-children).
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: After 3 months’ service: 1 weeks’ pay. After 1 year of service: 2 weeks’ pay. After 2 years’ service: 3 weeks’ pay. After 4 years’ service: 4 weeks’ pay. After 5 years’ service: 5 weeks’ pay plus 1/2 months’ current pay for each year of service over 5 years. After 15 years’ service: minimum 1/2 months’ current pay for each year of service, maximum 30 weeks.
Safety shoes: $150 per year (previously $75) for receivers, receiver helpers, stock handlers.
Uniforms/clothing: For employees required to wear uniforms, employer will supply, launder and keep in repair clothing.
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after $0.50 per hour increase):
Sales associate: $10.45 to start; $10.95 after 6 months
Beauty advisor: $10.45 to start; $10.95 after 6 months
Line reps: $10.45 to start; $10.95 after 6 months
Basic operations scale: $10.45 to start; $10.95 after 6 months
Merchandise handler: $10.45 to start; $10.95 after 6 months
Clerk 1: $10.45 to start; $10.95 after 6 months
Clerk 2: $11.50 to start; $12 after 6 months
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after $0.76 per hour increase):
VP specialist: $15.25 to start; $16.01 after 6 months
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after $1 per hour increase):
Commission sales: $11 to start; $12 after 6 months
Editor’s notes: Lump sum: Upon ratification, all major home fashion commission associates will receive lump-sum payment of $300. Effective Aug. 1, 2017, Aug. 1, 2018, Aug. 1, 2019, all major home fashion associates will receive a payment of $100. 50% off black cardigans: Associates will be entitled to 50% off regular price any purchase of black cardigans for use at work, purchased at the Bay.
