Renewal agreement: Effective May 8, 2022 to May 9, 2026. Signed in June 2022.

Paid holidays: 11 days, including National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.

Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days to start, 2 weeks after 1 years, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years, 6 weeks after 25 years.

Overtime: Paid at time and one-half. Time may be banked, maximum 500 hours banked.

Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums.

Pension: Regular employees, after 6 months of service, may make voluntary contribution of up to 2.5% into company group RRSP, which will be matched by company into DPSP (employee must register in both programs DPSP and RRSP).

Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex spouse, son, stepson, daughter, stepdaughter, father, stepfather, mother, stepmother. 3 days for death of their grandparent, mother-in-law, father-in-law (including same-sex spouses), grandchild, brother, stepbrother, sister, stepsister, son in-law, daughter in-law, relative who lives in principal residence of employee. 1 day for death of aunt or uncle. 1 additional day when necessary for employee to leave city in which they work and travel more than 200 kilometres.

Seniority – recall rights: 18 months for employee who takes non-management job within company; 9 months for employee accepting management position. 3 years for surplus, laid-off or bumped full-time employees; 1 year for part-time employee who is laid off. 36 months for worker who sustains occupational injury or disease.

Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours of pay at double time.

Probationary period:

Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for disciplinary and non-disciplinary actions.

Editor’s notes: Transportation allowance/living expenses: When employer transfers employee and employee spends night out of town, provide private sleeping quarters and expenses will be compensated by daily allowance of $70 (previously $55) which covers personal expenses incurred such as meals, telephone, laundry.
