Renewal agreement: Effective Feb. 13, 2019, to March 31, 2021. Ratified on Feb. 13, 2019. Signed on April 5, 2019. (First agreement.)

Wage adjustments:

Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 1.5%

Effective April 1, 2020: 2%

Shift premium: $2.75 per hour for all work between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. $3 per hour for all work between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. $2.75 per hour for all work in 64-hour period from 3 p.m. on Friday until 7 a.m. on Monday.

Paid holidays: 11 days

Vacations with pay: 75 hours after 1 year, 112.5 hours after 3 years, 150 hours after 6 years, 187.5 hours after 15 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 7.75 hours per day or after 38.75 hours per week or on scheduled day of rest. Double time after 2 hours of overtime.

Medical benefits: Employer pays 65% of premiums, employee pays 35% of premiums.

Dental: Employer pays 65% of premiums, employee pays 35% of premiums.

Vision: Employer pays 65% of premiums, employee pays 35% of premiums.

Sick leave: 1.25 days per month, maximum 15 working days, after probation. May be carried forward into following year, maximum 30 days per year.

AD&D: Employer pays 65% of premiums, employee pays 35% of premiums.

Life insurance: Employer pays 65% of premiums, employee pays 35% of premiums.

Pension: After 6 months worked or 957 hours, whichever is greater, employer will match employee contributions, maximum 3%, into employer-administered, employee self-directed, RRSP.

Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (spouse (common-law, same-sex relationship), child, parent, brother, brother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, guardian, fiancé, stepparent, stepchildren, stepbrother, stepsister). 2 additional paid days in extenuating circumstances, plus 2 additional unpaid days in extenuating circumstances. 1 day for death of another relative, close friend.

Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.

Probationary period: 450 hours worked.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.

Severance: 1 week after 3 months; 2 weeks after 2 years; 4 weeks after 4 years; 5 weeks after 6 years; 6 weeks after 8 years; 8 weeks after 10 years.
