Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2022 to Dec. 31, 2025. Signed on Jan. 1, 2022.

Wage adjustments:

Effective Jan. 1, 2022: 4%

Effective Jan. 1, 2023: 3%

Effective Jan. 1, 2024: 3%

Effective Jan. 1, 2025: 2%

Shift premium: 8% when employee relieves in classification higher than own (not to exceed maximum of higher classification). $130.50 per month for employees not using employer-provided parking. 7% to employees who use second official language 25% of time.

Paid holidays: 15 days, including National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Christmas Eve day, New Year’s Eve day.

Vacations with pay: 1 2/3 days per month to start, 20 days after 1 year, 25 days after 5 years, 30 days after 10 years, 35 days after 15 years, 40 days after 20 years, 45 days after 25 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked after regular working day; double time after 3 hours of overtime. May be taken as time off in lieu, maximum 12 months’ accumulation, which will be paid out if not used.

Meal allowance: $10 and reimbursed for transportation costs for employee who works overtime 2 hours or more before or after scheduled hours. Additional meal allowance of $10 if employee works after midnight. $10 for employee who works overtime 4 hours or more on Saturday, Sunday, statutory holiday. Double time for work done on Saturdays, Sundays, statutory holidays, vacation time, Christmas shutdown.

Dental: Coverage of 100% of orthodontic services, maximum $6,000.

Vision: Maximum $750 every 24 months.

Sick leave: 1.5 days per month.

Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of parent, spouse, fiancé(e), child, former guardian. 3 days for death of brother, sister, parent-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, ward. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew.

Seniority – recall rights: 3 years after layoffs.

Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours at applicable overtime rate, in addition to transportation allowance.

Probationary period: First 60 days worked.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year for disciplinary measures. All absences greater than 60 calendar days will not count toward period.

Severance: 50% of unused sick leave, maximum 40 days, after 2 years of service; 1.4 weeks’ for each year of service on departure, plus 1 additional week’s salary, after 5 years of service.

Uniforms/clothing: Employee who is required to use employer-provided equipment will be supplied with smock, gloves, other protective apparel as required at employer’s expense.

Mileage: $0.58 per kilometre (previously $0.53 per kilometre) to employees requested to use own vehicles.

Bookkeeper: $1,554.70

Administrative assistant collective agreement analyst: $1,521.58

Office administrator: $1,499.53

Administrative support professional (1-clerical office): $1,483.28

Purchasing and receiving coordinator: $1,481.24

Administrative support professional: $1,459.65

Editor’s notes: Child-, elder-care costs: $10 per hour (previously $6 per hour) per dependant for employee working overtime which involves additional documented child- or elder-care costs. Vacation bonus: Additional payment of $200 for every week of vacation entitlement as vacation bonus. Employees will receive bonus in first pay period in June of each year.
