Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2021 to Dec. 31, 2025. Signed on Jan. 25, 2021.
Shift premium: $0.50 per hour for employee holding first-aid certificate recognized under workers’ compensation board regulations who is designated to carry out duties of first-aid attendant, class C, only if employee is designated as attendant for shift. $1 per hour for employee who commences work 2 p.m. or later or before 6 a.m. $0.50 per hour for warehouseman who is designated as chargehand.
Paid holidays: 10 days, plus 1 floater day.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 9 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 15 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 21 years, 7 weeks or 14% after 28 years. 2 weeks after 1 years, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years, 6 weeks after 25 years for new hires after Jan. 1, 2011.
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours of overtime; double time thereafter. Double time for first 8 hours worked on holiday; triple time for following 2 hours; quadruple time thereafter.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Teamsters health and welfare plan.
Pension: Employer will contribute $4.35 per hour (previously $4.25 per hour) to Teamsters’ National Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days leave for death of parent, spouse, brother, sister, child, parent-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparents, spouse’s grandparents, spouse’s legal guardian.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year after layoffs; 18 months after 5 years of service. 90 calendar days when employee receives leave of absence to take position within company which is beyond sphere of bargaining unit.
Probationary period: First 30 calendar days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for written reprimand or warning letter.
Severance: 1 week’s pay, maximum 16 weeks.
Safety shoes: $125 per year, maximum $250 may be carried over into following year. It is mandatory that employees wear safety-toed footwear, and that footwear be CSA-approved.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide 2 pairs of gloves per yearh.

Office: $24.26 rising 3 steps to $25.76
