Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2022. Ratified on Jan. 7, 2019. Signed on Jan. 7, 2019.
Shift premium: $1.10 per hour (previously $1.05 per hour) for any hours worked in shift that falls between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. $1.20 per hour for freezer premium. $0.50 per hour for yard premium. $0.75 per hour for lead-hands to be used at discretion of management (lead-hands do not have authority to hire, fire, or discipline employees).
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 8years, 5 weeks after 13 years, 6weeks after 18 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 or 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Double time after 4 hours of overtime. Double time after 12 hours per day or on seventh day of employee’s work week. May be banked, maximum 40 hours. Time and one-half (minimum 4 hours’ pay), double time after 3 hours, for all work on first day of rest.
Meal allowance: $12 (previously $11) for employee who works more than 2 hours after end of regular shift.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Sick leave: 1.25 days per month, after 3 months of service; credit for 3.75 days will be given after 3-month waiting period. For employees hired after Oct. 25, 2014: 1 day per month of service; credit for 3 days leave will be given after 6 months of service.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
Bereavement leave: Employer will grant leave at its discretion for death in immediate family (spouse, mother, father, stepmother, stepfather, child, brother, sister, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandparents, spouse’s grandparents, mother-in-law, father-in-law, any relative living in household of employee).
Call-in pay: 4 hours at basic straight time hourly rate or for actual time worked at applicable overtime rate whichever is greater.
Probationary period: 120 working days.
Safety shoes: 75% of cost of 1 pair of safety shoes per year or $150, whichever is the lesser (previously, 50% of cost or $125).
